　　学识渊博伟岸帅气的任智勋（李忠秀 饰）是小有名气的精神科医师，他偏向冷静思维人与人之间的情感，将一切都归于最理性科学解释，内心虽感深深孤独，却时常和不同的女子夜夜欢歌，双栖双宿，一味沉湎肉体的欢愉。他的同事兼好友俊基则不然，是一个追求真爱的传统男子。俊基通过相亲结识美丽的提线木偶师贤贞（具智成 饰），然而对方仿佛隐藏的无尽的心事。贤贞时常会看到恐怖的鬼影出现在她的面前，有时会莫名其妙失去知觉。为了帮助女友摆脱困境，俊基拜托智勋采用催眠的办法为贤贞治疗。　　催眠过程中，贤贞讲述了自己隐秘的过去，并开始表现出妖冶鬼魅的人格。禁不住诱惑，智勋利用催眠跨越禁区，全然不计任何后果……

 爱尔兰，Redmond Barry(瑞安·奥尼尔 Ryan O'Neal 饰）从小和母亲寄居在舅舅家，后来爱上了他的表姐Nora。Nora的父亲却想把她许配给一个英格兰将军John Quin。于是Barry向Quin提出决斗，决斗中Barry射中了Quin，误以为将他杀 死了，匆忙逃离家乡。路上他遭遇抢劫，走投无路只能加入英国军队。在军队中他才得知，其实Quin并没有死。Barry从英军中出逃，却加入了普鲁士军。战争结束后他成了普鲁士军官Potzdorf的心腹，更让他去监视一个在普鲁士的爱尔兰间谍。Barry却和这个爱尔兰骑士惺惺相惜，爱尔兰骑士带他出入赌场，收获颇丰。Barry觉得自己应该找个有钱的女人，于是盯上了Lyndon爵士的夫人Lady Lyndon。Lyndon爵士病重身亡，一年后，Barry和Lady Lyndon结婚，也成了一名贵族，改名为Barry Lyndon。但Lyndon爵士和Lady Lyndon的儿子Bullingdon却十分不喜欢Barry，Barry也预感到自己的未来将会毁于Bullingdon手中.....

　　Two sisters living separate lives on different continents are reunited on a Mediterranean Island. The two barely have time to bond and revive family ties as Kate, the elder, meets a group of locals and agrees to an exciting ride on a hot air balloon.
