初次体验的秘诀

　　南、欧、尼克、窦和梅是五个刚毕业没多久的新新人类，出于对影视行业和灵异题材的热爱，他们拍摄了一支闹鬼废墟的小短片。虽然没有获得相关公司的认可，但一经上传后很快得到网友的广泛关注和支持。在此之后，专门拍摄灵异题材的制作公司鬼域（Ghost Land）联系到他们，邀请三个人前往端岛拍摄。端岛是位于日本长崎一座形状酷似军舰的岛屿，19世纪末曾凭借丰富的矿藏赢得某大型企业的关注，但是随着能源方式的改编如今已变成遍布废墟的荒岛。　　无所顾忌的年轻人们登上端岛，期间还遭遇传说中的美女美子的鬼魂，他们就此厄运缠身……

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

 罗伯特．Z．伦纳德导演的这部影片以百老汇最大的歌舞团——齐格菲歌舞团的创办人佛罗伦斯．齐格菲的生平为题材，是三十年代好莱坞歌舞片黄金时代的重要代表作之一。当时获得了第九届奥斯卡最佳影片等三项大奖，女星路易丝．莱娜演出齐格菲的首任妻子，获最佳女主角奖。齐格菲年轻时是杂耍节目中表演的艺人。1893年到百老汇发展，建立了歌舞团的知名度，1907年创办了以美女盛装演出大型歌舞著称的齐格菲歌舞团，赢得歌舞大王的称号。齐格菲一角由威廉．鲍威尔担纲演出，男女主角都表演得很好。
