　　Driving home late at night during a heavy rainstorm, Glen experiences car trouble. Near where his car gets stuck, he spots a house, knocks on the door and is greeted by an oddly friendly middle-aged man, Arthur, and his younger wife, Cyndi. The strange couple pours him a drink, and then more drinks, followed by an unexpected offer that Glen can’t refuse.  小学生典道（山崎裕太）与佑价（反田孝幸）等同伴们就烟花升腾而起时是扁是圆展开争论，无果后，众人困惑起来，为了将困惑解决，他们决定趁夏季花火大会的机会去燃放烟花的灯塔上一探究竟。典道和佑价同时暗恋的同学，早熟的少女奈砂（奥菜惠）因为父母离异怀起心事。一场在典道和佑价之间进行的五十米游泳比赛结束后，奈砂单约胜利者佑价陪她去看烟花，不想对方最终决定同大伙一起去灯塔。奈砂最终拉上比赛失败的典道上路，目的地却变成了火车站甚至更远的东京。

故事发生在马尼拉一处精英高尔夫球场与乡村俱乐部的封闭生态中：在俱乐部打工的“发球童”伊莎贝尔对俱乐部主席帕兰卡医生产生难以名状的吸引，但当她逐步拼凑出俱乐部光洁表象下的暴力真相时，她意识到这段“迷恋”其实牵连着更阴暗的共同过往。
