未来世界，在一艘名为“苍穹号”的飞船上，船长梁承天带领着船员们经常在星际之间从事采集矿物质的买卖，以此来获得巨大的经济利益。虽然他们在多次采集过程中偶尔会遇到危险，但最终也都能安全返航。                                                                      　　直到这次，梁承天带着船员们在银河系中，意外找到一颗六千万年前爆炸的超新星，他们在附近采集到了稀有的矿物质，从而能获得巨额利益。可因利益分配不均，各怀心事的船员们就此踏上返航之旅。                                                                      　　在返航途中“苍穹号”意外接到了一组未知的求救讯号。他们成功救下了“创世纪号”的生物学家林修远和他的妻子Angel，而梁承天在救援的过程中也意外受伤。
